Background
Ben Cheng is a relentless student and connoisseur of Asian arts. He has over 20 years of experience in collecting, authenticating, and dealing in Asian arts with a specific focus on Chinese porcelain, bronze, and jade. There are more than 1000 pieces of art in his collection. What’s presented on this website represent the zenith of his collection.
Ben was born in Taiwan to a Zhejiang family. He moved to the US with his family in 1992 where he attended University of Maryland at College Park. Ben is also a licensed CPA in DC & VA.
蘭心堂 (Lanxintang) is the name of Ben’s collection and represents his ancestral roots in 浙江蘭谿 (Lanxi, Zhejiang).
